“What you see as right is also what you see as attractive.” Ludwig Wittgenstein
Funny the things that attach themselves to the beautiful. The greatest fallacy of fame is that the people who cling to you do you damage. This spider serves me perfectly in constructing this metaphor. To me, this flower is beautiful. Beneath it, is a spider. A thing that most consider repulsive, ugly, or vile. It has attached its home to the flower, and yet, the ugly spider keeps the flower beautiful, keeps the flower from being eaten by other insects, keeps the flower safe and alive. Quite the arachknight no? The very same thing that most hate, is the thing keeping safe what most love. Funny the things that attach themselves to the beautiful.
